TV star set to replace Simon Cowell as BGT judge - Southend Echo — David Tennant joins Britain's Got Talent panel

Simon Cowell has been substituted as a judge on Britain's Got Talent by Doctor Who star David Tennant. The change occurs immediately, with Cowell skipping the audition episodes. Bradley Walsh, Cowell's son, will also be a guest judge the show. Tennant will become a part of the panel for the remaining episodes. The show continues with new judges and guest appearances.
