Jesus Luzardo was sharp Monday. The Phillies lefty struck out twelve and threw the first shutout of his professional journey, giving Philadelphia a one-zero win over Atlanta at Citizens Bank Park. Kyle Schwarber hit the only run on a solo home run.
The win closed out the series. Earlier, Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. got noisy criticism from the home crowd. He hit a home run anyway and took a short celebration on the road.
