Rogers Communications finalised its buyout of the last 37.5 percent stake in Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment from Kilmer Sports for $4.35 billion.

The deal renders Rogers the exclusive owner of MLSE.

This move increases Rogers' control over the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, and other teams within the company's sports portfolio.

Multiple outlets confirmed the finalised transaction on Monday.

Rogers earlier kept a primary stake in MLSE alongside Kilmer Sports.
