A storm system in the Gulf of Mexico may hit Florida over the weekend. The National Hurricane Centre says the likelihood of it intensifying stands at 30%. May bring flooding and hard winds. Right now, the system is still weak but may grow before landfall. Heavy rain is likely to hit large parts of the state. Meteorologists do not think it will become a named storm yet.
