BYD has ended production of its cheapest electric car after weak demand prompted the move. Even with its affordability, sales remained very low all year, so the manufacturer pulled the plug. As of now, no plan has been announced to replace it yet.
The brand then debuted eight fresh models at the motor show. The line-up featured a small city runabout to larger SUVs and crossovers. Visitors and reporters in the UK gathered in large numbers to see the new cars on display.
