Patchy storms are building across Central Texas on Thursday, Aug. 27. Parts of the Austin area may get some rain. KXAN and FOX 7 Austin both noted the chance of wet weather. The storms are spotty and could bring showers to any neighborhood.
Later Thursday night, skies could clear enough for residents to view a lunar eclipse. The blood moon will be on display if conditions cooperate. The eclipse is expected to happen after the rain. Residents who plan to watch it should watch for clearing skies. The weather and the eclipse are both part of the same night.
