Ryan Fox secured the victory by a single shot after a jittery birdie on the final green. Cameron Young stamped his authority early with a strong charge on the front nine. Fox took command with a clutch putt down the stretch. Tommy Fleetwood finished just outside of a playoff spot. Fox got off the major board at last on a brutal Open layout. Relentless winds never eased up on the duneland course. Years of narrow misses finally gave way to glory on Sunday for the Kiwi.
