The eastbound lanes of the eastbound side on the the bridge closed late Saturday night. Vehicles came to a halt after an alert went out. Deputies guided drivers on both sides of the bridge. Crews started checking the structure right away. No one has explained why they closed it yet. Construction teams have not announced when the lanes will reopen.
