Southern Water will impose a ban on hosepipes in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight starting July 10. Similar rules began in Kent earlier this month. The company cites hot weather and low rainfall as the primary cause.
The ban covers private watering, garden hoses, and cleaning vehicles. If dry conditions persist, officials may expand the rules. Southern England already has additional water-saving steps in some regions.
