Separately, organisers halted poultry competitions at the Finley and Berrigan shows in light of an H5N1 outbreak. SSBCrack detailed the scrapping of the poultry events at both locations.

Despite the omitted poultry contests, the shows go on. Southern Riverina News confirmed that event schedules continue without the poultry judging.
