Law enforcement have traced Pamela Gwinnett, accused of stealing £300,000, a large sum from a pensioner in Chorley, Lancashire. She fled to Spain before disappearing. Spanish authorities now plan to return her to the UK for the fraud charge, after months of cross‑border police work in cooperation. Gwinnett had evaded capture for several months since leaving the UK in early 2025. The case began with early reports of her targeting older adults before her abrupt departure. Lancashire Constabulary has confirmed her repatriation on Friday.
