The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed forward Miles Wood on waivers. The move comes as part of a trade with the Toronto Maple Leafs, which also saw the Islanders' Joakim Engvall placed on waivers. The Blue Jackets acquired Matthew Knies, Felix Lorentz, and a second-round pick in the deal. Meanwhile, the Maple Leafs acquired Kirill Marchenko. The trade was reported by Union and Blue.
