It hit a free‑standing garage, produced a small hole and scattered debris inside.
No one was affected.
The rock contained rare fragments from the primordial solar system and traces of chemicals not found on Earth.
Scientists say its make‑up appears unlike typical Earth rocks.
NASA and other space agencies have commenced to study the pieces to learn where they came from.
