In Piddington village, residents held a referendum and voted to leave the UK over an asylum centre. Lisa Nandy responded to the vote. She said the government will hear from the residents and consider their concerns.

The government announced new 42 Young Futures Hubs across England. These hubs support young people with challenges in life and provide support. Four hubs will be in Greater Manchester, after a pilot scheme locally. New hubs are planned for Lancashire, Blackpool, and the North East under the expansion plan.
