Hyundai confirmed that it recalled almost 48,000 SUVs worldwide documented because seat belts might not work properly in a crash.
Another recall covers over 47,000 cars for a fault that has yet to be detailed and could be hazardous.
In Canada, Hyundai cautioned owners not to use the middle rear seat is prohibited on certain models.
Hyundai and Kia also pulled back 14 electric vehicles because of a battery defect.
These cars might burn if left parked outside when exposed to sun due to a battery issue.
Owners must leave them outside until the problem is resolved and must be addressed promptly.
