Humana is ending a number of Medicare Advantage plans in 2027. Non-renewal notices will go out in early October. One report says up to 600,000 members may be impacted. A separate tally says 64,000 seniors exposed to losing coverage. The letters will be sent in early October, as planned.

The company has not revealed which counties or plan types are being eliminated. This affords affected beneficiaries a short period to weigh options during Medicare open enrollment. The carrier has not published a list of affected plans.
