The well-known Festival d'Été de Québec closed with strong numbers. Major acts played several stages on Grande-Allée and inside Parc de la Francophonie. Organisers counted more number of people than ever before. Opening night had minor issues which might have become a messier problem. Heavy rain caused headaches on a handful of days. Still, locals kept turning out despite the hurdles. A simple check after the event showed the majority of people were pleased with how it ran, even with the minor hiccups.
