The Chicago Blackhawks forward insists it is reaching the playoffs.
He repeated this during a media session on Thursday.
Bedard said playoffs are the sole goal for the team at present.
He also noted Carlsson’s new contract has no to do with his own contract talks with Chicago.
The 19-year-old sealed a long-term deal with the Blackhawks recently.
