Counsel for the defense in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial rested arguments on day 18 after expert testimony describing postpartum psychosis. The psychiatrist stated that Clancy heard voices, felt as if controlled like a puppet, and was frankly psychotic. The prosecution is now bringing forward rebuttal witnesses to address the testimony. A prosecution psychiatrist testified that Clancy told her children "go to God" during the January 2023 fatal stabbing of the two young siblings. Clancy has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity. The trial is coming to a conclusion.
