Chase Elliott ran into the wall on Sunday at the Brickyard 400. He finished in 26th place. The car hit hard but Elliott stated the damage stayed minor. Later, Alex Bowman revealed he will step away after 2027. Bowman’s exit opens a vacancy that may go to Conner Zilisch in 2028. Elliott only talked about Bowman post crash, without discussing driver reshuffle.
