Toronto police have arrested two members of the Canadian Armed Forces on charges connected to organised crime and kidnapping, the Department of National Defence confirmed. The arrests were made in Toronto and both soldiers were suspended from service shortly after.
The DND said it is cooperating fully with the continuing investigation. No further details about the charges or the identities of the soldiers have been disclosed.
