Latest News About Burnham Unveils Ten-Year Northern Devolution Plan

Andy Burnham spoke today. He set out a ten‑year devolution plan. He called it a “No 10 in the North”. The plan would hand city mayors extra powers. Burnham stated that steps is set to lift the north’s economy and close the gap with that south. He said the goal is more local control over roads, training and cash. The scheme targets infrastructure, skills and investment.
