He was transported to hospital and subsequently had surgery for a injured clavicle on the right side, and a small C7 fracture. The clavicle repair involved a plate. Gresini Racing stated he was conscious after the crash. Fabio Di Giannantonio took victory. Márquez will miss Mugello and Balaton races.
